Hari Raya Trip

We went back to Melaka again during raya holiday for 2d1n.  A short trip for makan-makan....

We stayed in Bayview Hotel as it is located in the town centre.  We left after taking our late breakfast in Klang and headed to Melaka one 1st day raya.  No jammed and after 2 hours we are in Ayer Keroh toll.

Before we went back to Klang, we had our dinner at Portuguese Settlement.  However, we drive back to Klang, it was raining and the jam start from Alor Gajah till Seremban.

Another trip again !!!

Another trip to Melaka again ! That was the statement from my Cyn...no other place to go ? we better sleep at home !!!  Young teenager !!! have her own thinking!!! I told her, we will taste different food and we go for different things ...

We stayed in Bayou Lagoon Resort Park...quite far from town but the service is lousy and the water park is so small and the water is so dirty.  One of the recreation staff shouted at us because we used the wrong entrance and he was also shouting at others customer for bring food.  I forget to get his name.

Everything must pay in the park.  They have 9D theater and we thought we must try that...so Cyn and Dad went as Maine is too scary to go as she was frighten with the one in Sunway.  They paid RM 16/pax and the movie is only 5 mins ....I think it is too ridiculous for RM16 for 5 mins only.  Both of them went and they said it was nothing....and not scary at all....Please don't go to the 9D !!!! waste of time and MONEY.

On the 2nd day after we check out we went to 3D museum, as the inhouse guest we still have to pay RM10/adult and RM8/child....but the kids really enjoyed the 3D museum.

For our food, we have satay celup before we went to Portuguese Settlement for after sunset and they enjoyed the view there.

Selamat Hari Raya and long weekend

I would like to wish all of you Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri and for those how are not celebrating, happy holiday as we have 4 days long weekend.

We plan to visit Melaka again after our visit in 2011.  But this time we only visit for 2d1n as I have another plan on Monday.

Satay Celup.  This is not from Capitol Satay.  This from Ban Lee Siang in Jalan Ong Kim Wee.  We had this for our supper at around 10pm and the shop is still full of people.

Melaka Day 3

Day 3 at Melaka City and also last post about our Melaka trip.  We check out at about 10.30am and hunt for our breakfast as the hotel doesn't provide breakfast.  Our breakfast target is Tangkak Beef Noodle.

It took us a while to locate the shop as we were rounding Melaka Raya for the shop and luckily I managed google and found it new address.  It is a must try for beef lover.  Below is the address

The taste of the satay is not up to my expectation.  But worth trying because the sauce has some pineapples.

After our food hunt, we went to Zoo Melaka before we leave Melaka City at about 4.00pm.

Melaka Day 2

I was quite busy lately till no time for blogging.  I want to publish my Melaka trip before the year end.
For day 2, we had breakfast at the hotel as it is included in the packages.  The breakfast was so so only because there were not much choice.

After breakfast, we went back to room and start packing for check out.  We left Marvelux Hotel at about 10.30am and we went to Jonker street area.  We had our lunch in one of the chicken rice ball shop in Jonker Street.  Wah ! we were shock to see the queue outside the shop.  It was raining that day.  A bit of shopping after our lunch.

Then we check in at Harbour Inn in Melaka Raya.  A budget hotel for a short stay will be good.  After check in, we went for Melaka River Cruise.  The journey was something new and a memorable one for the family.  The children enjoy the ride.

After the cruise, we went back to Jonker Street for our food hunting.  Wah...the whole trip is about FOOD and FUN.

My home internet connection is a bit slow so I will upload more photos later.

Melaka Day 1

Just back from Melaka on Monday evening and back to work as usual this morning.  We really enjoyed ourselves there.

We reached Air Keroh toll at about 11.00 am as plan.  Our first destination was to Melaka Wonderland.  The weather was good on that day.  We bought our tickets at the ticket booth and before buying the ticket we measure Maine's height and luckily she is below 90cm which entitle her a free entrance.  We were there for about 3 hours.

After we left Melaka Wonderland, we drove thru McD for our quick lunch before we find our way to Marvelux Hotel at Jalan Kota Laksamana.  It is a newly opened hotel.  We had a bit of problem locating the hotel but with the help from the hotel staff, we managed to reached the hotel.  The weather was extremely at that time and we decided to rest in the hotel first.

I make sure my girls had enough water and bathe as the weather was too hot.  We go out again at about 5.00pm for our dinner.  We decided to go early because we know that the town area will be very jammed.  With the map drawn by my colleague, we managed to find the "Longkang kerang".  After enjoying the kerang at the "lorong", we go for our shopping and food hunting again at Jonker Street.

We also packed some food back to the hotel as supper.  We were too tired on Day 1 so, we knock off quite early that night.

Melaka !! Here I come !

I will be away to Melaka for 3D2N trip.  Initially our plan was to be there only 2D1N but since Monday (12/12/2011) is public holiday for Selangor, we decided to extend our stay.  Luckily I managed to book hotel last minute.  I just confirmed with my hubby about the extended stay this evening.
