Maine's birthday (outdated post)

Maine birthday day was last month but Mummy is too busy and didn't post about it.  She is 7 years old girl now and we celebrated her birthday in Sakae Sushi as she like the moving sushi conveyor.  We also bought a Baskin Robbin cake for her.

Sports Day

This year is Maine's last year in kindy and she will be going to Standard 1 next year.  So this year is her last year to attend her kindy sports day.  She is very excited.

Dengue

I had visited many dengue patients and heard about it because I was working in a private hospital.  But this time it happen to someone who is very close to me.  My little Maine was dengue positive after fever for 5 days.  I decided to bring her for blood test after her body developed red spot.  So, she was admitted to hospital on Wednesday evening and was warded for 3D2N.  Luckily her fever settled after the 2nd day admission.  I make sure she drinks lot of water and 100plus.

Kindy concert & Year 6 Graduation

It is a long overdue post.  Maine's kindy year end concert was on 10 Nov and Cyn's primary school graduation is on 15 Nov.  Cyn did averagely well in her UPSR.  She scored 4As, 2Bs and 1C.

Maine's kindy had sport day last sunday in one of the chinese school hall.  It is a annual event for the kindy.  This is Maine 2nd year there and she is excited about it.

I got her ready by 7.30am and we had our breakfast before heading to the school.  We had our breakfast here.  She also participate in tug of war.  She said she is strong girl now.

That night we had steamboat for dinner at Shapa Steamboat BBQ Buffet. A newly open steamboat at Kota Kemuning.  It is steamboat and bbq.

They have ready cooked food and all the bbq stuff will be cooked by the workers.  We just choose our food and they do the grilling for us.  Food will be delivered to your table.  Less hassle.  However, the tomyam soup is tasteless.

Happy Father's Day and weekend

"I love you, daddy" and "Happy Father's Day" ...this was what uttered by my little Maine for her father.  I think his heart had melted the moment he heard that.  We went to Papa John for father's day dinner.  They enjoying their dinner after a hectic day on Saturday because we spent almost half day in new home for few contractors to fix aircon, fans and water filter respectively.  Few furnitures were also arrived on Saturday morning.

On Saturday also, I went to Maine's kindy to collect her progress card.  Her teacher commented that she is a quiet girl and doen't interact must with her peers.  That is a total different from what she is when she is at home with us.  She is the most talkative girl at home and she can tell story for non stop.  But I told her teacher that I can see that she is enjoying her schooling life whereby she loves to write and read eventhough her teacher commented that her handwriting needs lots of improvement !!  Well, she is only 5 and I am not putting too much of pressure on her.  Let her learn at her own pace.

Sunday was a busy day because more packing to done.  5 more days and we will be shifting to our new 't home.  Just can't wait !!!

A post from new place

This is my 2nd week in my new workplace.  Hope everything goes well.

Maine's birthday is coming.  She is so excited and keep asking me to buy her cake.  She want to bring the cake for her friends in kindy. We will go to the cake shop to order a cake for her this weekend.  Her birthday falls on 21 March and we might wait for her aunty to come back from Singapore on 24 March to celebrate her birthday.

A gloomy morning

After week going to pre-school, Maine cried this morning and told me that she doesn't want to go to school today.  I managed to get her ready for school but she refused to get down from my car when we reached her school.  So, I parked my car and accompanied her to her class and again she refused to enter her class.  I believe she must be fear of something.  I will take to her tonight to find out more.  She never behave like that all this while and she always looking forward to go to school.

Happy New Year 2013

Good morning and Happy New Year 2013 !

Today is the first working day of the year and also the new school term starting.  Cyn is in Standard 6 and as usual she will follows her Aunty Yap to school.  Aunty Yap will comes and fetches her at 6.10am.  She has been following Aunty Yap since she is in Standard 1.  
As for our Little Maine, she is in her Level 2 this year, 2nd year in her kindergarten.  I will send her to kindy and she will follow her teacher (her class' teacher) back after school.  When I sent her this morning, she was ok and even bid me goodbye before I leave her with her teacher unlike last year whereby she cried and want to follow me home.  My post about her last year is here.  I didn't take leave this year but I asked for time off to be a bit late to office this morning.

Children's day celebration

Today is Maine's kindy children's day celebration.  Everyone have to bring one type of food for the celebration.  I only got to know about it on Sunday night as I didn't read her message book.  I was thinking the whole day yesterday on what to cook for her to bring.  I don't want her to bring junk food even thought the children love it.

After cracking my head, I decided to do a simple skewer for her to bring.  I bought one packet of Ayamas sausages and 2 packets of fishball from the supermarket nearby last night.  To make it healthy and less mess for the children, I steamed all the item instead of frying it.

Below is the outcome and Maine is so happy with it.

Cyn had her children day celebration last month and she just requested to buy some drinks for the celebration.  But she requested me to cook Red Bean Dessert for her Canteen Day end of last month.  She is so happy because her pot of red bean sold out so fast.

Sport Day

Maine's kindy organised Sport Day last Sunday in on of the primary school hall here.

Maine was very excited as she wake up very early to get herself ready.  She was actually for about a week already.  She was having fever and cough last week.  Since she had recovered before Sunday, I allowed her to join the Sport Day.

Her team won the competition and she was given with a medal.  Her very first medal.  She also took part in tug of war.  The children are so cute in the tug of war.  Just imagine 4 years old children doing tug of war.  For tug of war, her team loses however she had so much of fun.  The event lasted for about 3 hours.  Besides, the medal she also received an angry bird balloon.

With too much of fun, she fall sick again on Monday.  Brought her to specialist clinic and the doctor said she had 2 big ulcers near her tonsil.  Poor girl.  No wonder she had no appetite to eat.  Just have to ensure that she drinks lots of water.

Maine's 1st day in Daycare

I have to leave Maine in daycare after school this week because my mum is holidaying in Kuching.  Cyn will join her after school too.  I am too worry to leave Cyn at home alone.
I am a bit worry about Maine because this is the first time she will be in daycare but at least her sister will accompany her after 2pm.  So, not too bad.
This afternoon Cyn called me at 2.30pm to tell me that both of them are fine in daycare.  Maine refused to take afternoon nap.
Hope they will enjoy themselves there.
Next week, grandma is back !

February

Why I stopped at CNY ? I was too busy and lazzzzzzzzzzzzzzy to update my blog recently. Therefore, there were no updates at all after my last update on my CNY celebrating in Klang, *sigh*.
Few more days February is going to end and we will be welcoming March.  Yes, March !  Maine's birthday is coming.  This year she can celebrate her birthday with her friend in kindy and I believe she is going to enjoy her 4th birthday.  I am still thinking what to pack for her friends there.

HFMD

HFMD stands for Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease.  My little Maine is diagnosed with HFMD yesterday.  Therefore, she has to be isolated from school.  She is just into her 3rd week of schooling, now has to stop going to school till after CNY.  Pity her.

1st day in School

Today hubby and I take half day leave just to send our beloved Maine to kindergarten.  Her face a bit worried in the morning.  When I sent her to her class she was steady only, never cry.  But, when I try to move away, I saw her face changed and start crying.  I was in her kindergarten till her class over at 10.30am.  This week she finishes early and next week onward only go back at 12.00pm.
I will still on half day leave tomorrow to ensure that she fine there.

As for Cyn, she is in Standard 5 this year, she is a steady girl, I don't have to worry about her.  She never cry when I sent her to kindergarten at 4 years old.  She is an independent girl.  She will be sitting for UPSR next year.  Hope she will study hard.

Sleepy Mood

I have to wake up as early as 5.30am to get Cyn ready for school as the van driver will come and fetch her at 6.10am.  After that, I will take a short nap before I take my shower at 6.40am.  I have 30mins to sleep again...sound so nice, right ? BUT..... thing has changed !!!  

Since last week, Maine will also wake up when her sister is up and she refuses to sleep again.  I think the weather is too hot....she wants to watch TV at 5.30am !!  and take shower as early as 6.15am.  So, mummy also has to watch TV with her...   

So, mummy is in this mood since last week in office.....

 Maine is 3 years 3 months.  I bought 2 colouring books for her recently.  Let's see her masterpiece.
