Happy Chinese New Year 2018

I would like to wish all of you Happy Chinese New Year 2018 and Gong xi fa cai.

Wish that this year will be a better year for all of us.  

I will be going back to my husband's hometown during this cny.

Satay Kajang - Haji Samuri

After the hot day at Bangi Themepark which we went in my last posts, we went to Satay Kajang as we didn't take our lunch in the themepark as we took a very heavy breakfast.

So, we decide to bring the girls for satay kajang.  We ordered chicken, beef, mutton and rabbit satay with ABC and coconut drink.  Let the girls tried mutton and rabbit satay.

Before the school restart for 2018, we go for another outing on the Christmas day.  I got a free ticket to Bangi Wonderland from a friend for 4 pax (just nice for 4 of us).  She is so nice to give away the ticket to me as she is pregnant and the ticket will expired in March 2018.  Thank you my dear friend.

Year end is coming soon

It is almost year end and my Cyn will be sitting for her SPM next year.  I wouldn't believe that time really past so fast.  She was my little girl and she will be going to college soon.  She still have difficulty on what to do in her college.  She don't like accounts and she will definitely say NO to accounts.  I don't force her so much on what she wants to do and as long as it is her interest. 

My Maine is also going to Standard 4 next year.  These little girl is really mummy baby all the times.  She will cry and she needs mummy to hug and kiss her.  She will be going for morning school next year and hopefully I don't have difficulty to wake her up as she used to wake up around 7am now.

Before we celebrate Christmas, let's celebrate my birthday and my beloved hubby birthday.  As I mentioned, I love November.

Trip to Penang

We went to Penang during the long holiday over the weekend.  Our PM declared additional holiday on 4 Sept for our SEA games.  I have not been to Penang for more than 10 years already and I am also excited.  So we also joined the JAM geng on the highway.  7 hours to reach Penang and another 7 hours to reach Klang.  Tired !

We stayed in 1926 Heritage Hotel in Jalan Burma.  We use the 2nd bridge to the island and use the 1st bridge went we return.

It was a nice trip for the family and we will go back again.

Throwback - Trip to Pulau Redang

We went to Redang Island last year during mid year school break.  We went there for our honeymoon 16 years ago and now we go back with our 2 kids.  We took the early flight from Subang to Kuala Terengganu and the travel agent fetches us at the airport.  We were there for 3d2n and we go to my MIL house for a short break before we fly back in the evening

My eldest brother has opened a stall in Taman Senadin, Miri.  He sell Kuching Laksa, Yu Tiow....pls refer to the photo below.  Prices are reasonable.  I love the kuching laksa...remember by post about my authentice laksa sarawak post ?  Ya, most of my siblings can make good laksa sarawak.

MIA - Missing In Action

Hi...I was missing for almost 9 months.  Was too lazy or too busy.  I believe both.

Actually, nothing much to update recently.  We went Hong Kong in Nov 2016 and my two girls are super excited.  Then, we went back to Miri, Sarawak for our CNY this year.  A great celebration as all of the sibling went back this year.

My hubby also changed a new job in end of last year and look like he is happy with it.  Today is Maine's birthday and she is turning 9th while Cyn will be celebrating her sweet 16th birthday this year.  Still a long journey for her.

Last weekend activities

School holiday is here again for one week but we have no plan to go anywhere.  We just bring the girls to Sunway Pyramid.

We have our lunch at Mr Teppanyaki but the food is not nice, the meat is so dry and it is tasteless.  After our lunch we went to the roadshow of Hotel Transylvania, Maine did the colouring and she entitled for tatoo after she finish her colouring.

Not much shopping but the girls enjoying their time at Popular Bookstore.

We have our dinner Fong Lye Taiwanese Cuisine and the food taste nice.

May is here & Long Weekend

Ya...May is here...Cyn's birthday is coming and our wedding anniversary is coming and we are going for a short holiday my hubby.
We just come back from 4 days long weekend but the work in office is piling up.
We went to Sekinchan for a day trip and the traffic jammed is just like in highway.  I didn't know that they are so many people were going to Sekinchan.  We have seafood before we walked to Pantai Redang in Sekinchan.  We walked for about 30 mins but if we drive I think it will take us at least 40 mins as the jammed is horrible.

We went to Sekinchan on 1 May and for rest 3 days we didn't go any other place beside watching Avengers.

Trip to Sabah

After working so hard for a year....we decided to make a trip to Sabah for holiday.  This is the first trip for my 2 kids and hubby.  I been to Sabah once when I was at 10 years and stay in Papar for 1 months during school holiday before we moved Sibu.  However, I also forgetten about Sabah.

We went on 4d3n trip and fly by AirAsia.  We also rent a car and it is easier to go around.  On day 1, we went straight to Kundasang and stay a night there.  Let see the picture

A very good experience for the kids and my eldest one who love seafood cannot resist it.  The seafood there are also cheap.  They also sell sea cucumber, abalone, scallop, salted fish and all types of seafood.

Simple Dinner

Usually I don't cook on weekday because I leave the kitchen to my mum.  I will be late when I reached home.  But I will give a menu to her so that she don't have to think what to cook.  She followed my menu and do the cooking.

But for weekend, I prefer to cooking something special for them.  I usually will try to cook spicy food for my hubby and my mum will decide not cooking spicy food as she can't take hot food.  I will also cook something no spicy for my little Maine.

Recipe for Sambal Terung Ikan Bilis

Ingredient :

5 Brinjal (i prefer the small brinjai, can just cut into 2 and fry it)
Sambal (I use prefer and leave it in fridge, will use when necessary)
100gm ikan bilis, clean the heat
1 big onion

Method

1) Cut the brinjal into 2 and fry it till in turn brownish, make sure the brinjal is also cook
2) Remove the brinjal and arrange on the plate
3) Fry the ikan bilis till it is crispy
4) Add on the big onion and fry and lastly add in the sambal
5) Before dish out, add in a bit of asam jawa juice

Health Walk and Yoga

We went for Health Walk on 12 Oct 2014 at Bandar Botanic, Klang.

It is in conjunction with World Mental Health Day and the distance around 4km.  The whole family went and my eldest daughter is very excited to join.  She said we should joined this type of event frequently.  No prize giving for walk but everyone receive a goody bag and breakfast.

I also joining yoga now for heath reason.  I went for one class weekly and my office also have yoga class for the staff also on one week once.  So, they are total 2 class for me in a week.

Can't open their eye as they wake up 6.00am on Sunday morning.

Outdated February Post

I just can't believe that I didn't have any posts in February.  Am I that busy till I totally neglect my blog ?  Why am I so busy ?  Ya, February is CNY month and I was busy in office too.  Plenty of excuses if I want to list it down :P

Actually nothing much happening in February.  We hosted an open house for our new nest on 8 Feb 2014 and the turn out was quite encouraging.  My company also hosted an open house on the following weekend i.e. 15 Feb 2014 and my children really enjoyed the show.  CNY this year was

Ordered Poon Choi and had it during the 3rd CNY because my sister and her husband were here in KL.  It took us 2 days to finish it.

My Valentine's gift from my beloved hubby.  Have not been receiving flower from him since I gave birth to Cyn.  So touch.  Hahaha

Today is 4 March 2014 and it marked my 1 year anniversary working in this company.  I was quite happy working here now.  Just done my one year review with my boss and he is also happy with my performance.

I hope to strive more this year and I can expecting more responsibilities to be showered to me.
