Balik Kampung

School holiday is coming and we have plan to balik kampung for this holiday.  We made a short trip back to Kuala Terengganu for 3d2n and we stayed at Jen's Homestay at Kampung Tiong.  We usually stay in hotel during our trip back to KT as my MIL house is full occupied.

Our main purpose is to enjoy the food in KT but these trip is during puasa month so we missed out the malay food especially nasi dagang.  One of the wonderful nasi dagang you must tried is Nasi Dagang Kak Pah at Batu Burok.  We will be back again in August as my husband has gathering on 31 Aug 2018 and we will follow him as well.

Throwback - General Election 14.  I am from Sarawak but I never in Sarawak before.  I always vote in Selangor.

090518 - a very important date for the Malaysian and I am proud to be a Malaysian. 

Some people will think that I am a Malay or Iban because of my look and my name but they heard me speaking Mandarin or other dialects, they will be wondering what race am I ? and my response to them is "I am a Malaysian".  Wondering what is my name.... my name is LINA and it is not my english name or glamour name....it is my actual chinese name.  That why many people confuse of my race and of course my skin is darker compare so most chinese.  So, again.....I am a MALAYSIAN.

Throwback - Birthday for my 2 girls

Getting lazier to update my blog ?? Quite busy recently at work and just want to relax once I reach home so I must neglect my blog.  It is a good reason ? Another excuse !

OK, let talk about my daughters birthday.  Maine is born in March and we just did a simple dinner with her.  No cake cutting at home as she cut her cake in the daycare centre with her friends.  She is 10yrs old this year and her sister is 17th years old.  As for Cyn, we went for korean bbq food and she loves it.  A very simple celebration for both of them. 

As for Cyn, she will be sitting for SPM and we wish her all the best.

Satay Kajang - Haji Samuri

After the hot day at Bangi Themepark which we went in my last posts, we went to Satay Kajang as we didn't take our lunch in the themepark as we took a very heavy breakfast.

So, we decide to bring the girls for satay kajang.  We ordered chicken, beef, mutton and rabbit satay with ABC and coconut drink.  Let the girls tried mutton and rabbit satay.

Before the school restart for 2018, we go for another outing on the Christmas day.  I got a free ticket to Bangi Wonderland from a friend for 4 pax (just nice for 4 of us).  She is so nice to give away the ticket to me as she is pregnant and the ticket will expired in March 2018.  Thank you my dear friend.

Education Fair 2017 and Shopping at Midvalley

We went to Midvalley on 10 Dec to visit the Education Fair as my eldest girls will be doing her Form 5 next year and I want to plan for her future.  Touring around the fair and she cannot decide what to do. She has no plan at all.  She thinks that it is still very early for her to decide what to do next.  After the fair, we went shopping for our CNY clothes and the girls are exciting to take photos with the huge bears.

Another 8 days to 2018 and we will celebrate Dongzhi Festival first before we celebrate Christmas and of course 2018 are welcoming us.

Let's go Zumba

I have been going for zumba for about 3 months and the location is so near to my house; a walking distance.  My younger girl, Maine will joined me on every Monday but she can't join on Tuesday as she has tuition at night.  So, I will go alone on Tuesday.  They only conduct class every Monday and Tuesday and I pay RM70 for 8 classes.

A very interesting class with a good instructor.  Last Monday, I invited my ex-colleagues to join me as well.  Can for trial class for free :)

These restaurant is very famous in Klang and please get ready to wait.  Please have some snack before you coming especially during weekend.  They are famous of their steamed lala and nestum mantis (but I don't really like it).  They hokkien mee is also nice.

We waited 30 mins to get a table (please get the number form the counter) and 1 hour for the food.

School Holiday #2017 - Muar Trip

This year to save budget, we don't go to overseas and we only plan for local trip and we visit a very small town in Johor.
We went to Muar in Johor last weekend as my ex-colleague is from Muar and she was our tour guide.  Thank you for bring us around the town.

November...full of celebration

Ya...as I mentioned earlier, I love November because both of our birthday (my husband and I) fall in November and I have a group of friends' birthday also fall in November.  So, November....let's celebrate !!!

I have an earlier breakfast at Chong Kok Kopitiam at Jln Stesen.  A wonderful place for cup of kopi o and roti bakar.

Year end is coming soon

It is almost year end and my Cyn will be sitting for her SPM next year.  I wouldn't believe that time really past so fast.  She was my little girl and she will be going to college soon.  She still have difficulty on what to do in her college.  She don't like accounts and she will definitely say NO to accounts.  I don't force her so much on what she wants to do and as long as it is her interest. 

My Maine is also going to Standard 4 next year.  These little girl is really mummy baby all the times.  She will cry and she needs mummy to hug and kiss her.  She will be going for morning school next year and hopefully I don't have difficulty to wake her up as she used to wake up around 7am now.

Before we celebrate Christmas, let's celebrate my birthday and my beloved hubby birthday.  As I mentioned, I love November.

Almost 2 months here......

It is almost 2 months working in this new company and I am getting to use to it now.  The office is a bit small and the environment is a bit dull and quiet.

However, after almost 2 months here, I try my very best to get use to the environment.  During the interview, they told me it is 5.5 days (alternate Saturday) for office staff but the good news was on my first day of work, my GM told me that the company will implement 5 days week in Sept or October.

I was so excited and I went see my GM again on 2 weeks of August as we have long holiday in end of Aug and she agreed the we will start 5 days effective Sept.

It is quite quiet most of the time and my colleagues will dress very casual to office.  Some of them will wear three quarter pants, short pants & knee length pants.

Trip to Penang

We went to Penang during the long holiday over the weekend.  Our PM declared additional holiday on 4 Sept for our SEA games.  I have not been to Penang for more than 10 years already and I am also excited.  So we also joined the JAM geng on the highway.  7 hours to reach Penang and another 7 hours to reach Klang.  Tired !

We stayed in 1926 Heritage Hotel in Jalan Burma.  We use the 2nd bridge to the island and use the 1st bridge went we return.

It was a nice trip for the family and we will go back again.
